Rory Fallis is a mostly self-taught filmmaker and playwright from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He co-wrote and co-directed his first feature film in 2008 with Sebastien Ball. That film, Ebby House premiered at the 2011 Gimli Film Festival.

In 2009 Rory wrote and produced the one-act play Customer Relations at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, picking up a Best of Fest slot. In 2010 he wrote and directed the web series Josh And Mike Live Together, co-wrote, produced and edited the short film Tales From Makeout Point: Vinnie’s Tale, and co-wrote and co-directed the short film Werewolf Jesus. Both Vinnie’s Tale and Werewolf Jesus premiered at the 2010 Winnipeg Horror Cinema screening at the Cinematheque, with Vinnie’s Tale taking home the audience pick for best film. Vinnie’s Tale also screened at the 2011 Gimli Film Festival.

For the 2011 Winnipeg Folk Festival, Rory and Natalie Dacquisto were commissioned to create a video projection for a performance at the Big Blue stage at night.

Rory co-produced and sound designed the 2011 Winnipeg Fringe Festival hit play Rogue Cop, and wrote and directed Maiden Voyage 4: Come Hell or High Water for 2012’s Winnipeg Fringe Festival.

In 2013 he has co-directed, written, produced and edited the short film Space Hotel, and directed Comedy Plus Time Equals Tragedy at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival.

He is currently editing the web series Brad Even Paler, and writing for Week Thus Far.
