So here's the deal. Space Hotel is now available online, for free. I would love it if some of you would take a half hour out of your day and take a look at it.
About 2 years of my life went in to this thing, and we basically called in all the favours we had, to pull off an 80s period piece set in space for almost no money. I think we did a pretty good job. Thank you to everyone who lent their support in every imaginable way. I can't possibly write that list here, because it's nearly everyone I know.
It didn't get a huge run at festivals because, in all honesty, it's a
tough film to program. It's really long for a short film, it's too weird
to be mainstream, and it's not as weird as some of the really weird
stuff out there. But at the end of the day, successes and failures taken
in to account, we made EXACTLY the film we set out to make.
If you enjoy it, tell a friend. That's the only way anyone will ever see it. And if you don't like it, and just want to freak out an enemy, show them.
